Experience

I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and credentialed in my home country of South Africa, residing in Cape Town. My clients describe me as engendering, “a sense of trust and confidence” and being “empathetic” in my approach. Being located in South Africa, I continue to engage in the anti-racism conversation and as a 'white' woman, I own my fragility. I am particularly passionate about working with women in leadership and have been instrumental in the launch of parental transition coaching to the South African marketplace.

Introduction

The majority of my corporate career was spent in Business Development at a professional services firm (EY), where I account managed key clients and trained key account management methodology nationally. I transitioned from Corporate in 2008 and set up practice as an independent facilitator and coach, to be more flexible around my two young sons. I currently facilitate in leadership and coach in both the corporate and nonprofit environments, helping high potential individuals be more effective in the management of self and their teams. In addition to my formal qualifications of a Bachelor of Commerce Honours, I apply a number of psychometric tools to my coaching and facilitation work, including being an accredited facilitator of the Clarity 4D™ profile, Strength Deployment Inventory™, 5LQ Enneagram and am an accredited Neurozone™ facilitator and Conscious Business Coach. On the home front I am married to a colourist who works in the film industry and am mom to two teen boys. I run a small bed and breakfast on the side and have always been a passionate dancer of various dance genres.
