Sophie works as a professional and personal development coach, who firmly believes that there are boundless possibilities to keep learning and growing. She enjoys partnering with driven professionals and developing leaders in 1:1 coaching sessions, to create meaning in their work and achieve the results that they and their organizations truly desire. Human motivation, optimal performance, and well-being have long captivated Sophie and led her to pursue various degrees in psychology. She is a graduate of Utrecht University (BSc), VU University Amsterdam (MSc), and the London School of Economics (MSc), where she obtained degrees in Organizational Psychology and International Human Resources Management. She started her career on short assignments in various international organizations (The United Nations in New York City, Cellulant in Nairobi, and Summit in Cairo). Since then she has been working as a consultant in the field of people analytics at Oracle. Sophie’s background in organizational psychology and international HR experience brings a wealth of theoretical knowledge and business acumen. She translates this knowledge into a coaching practice based on scientifically proven approaches and best practices, grounded in research of performance/motivation, positive psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness and CBT. She is specialized in helping high achievers find balance, foster work engagement, and prevent burnout. Sophie is curious, a strategic thinker and a good listener. Currently, she is working towards becoming a certified executive coach through the Columbia Coaching Certification Program. Her ideal client is ambitious, self-driven, results-oriented, and willing to invest in continuous learning and take on challenges to actively pursue personal goals.
